Jetclean technicians are highly trained and experienced in sealing driveways made of concrete, pavers and stone.
Driveways are affected by the harsh Australian climate, mould, leaf stains, tyres and oil spills. Most can permanently mark your driveway. Our specialised sealing teams can restore, enhance and protect your driveway.

NOTES
We have sealed most types of outdoors surfaces over the years. The masonry materials most commonly sealed are:
CONCRETE SEALING : Concrete surfaces like driveways easily stain and discolour. Typically concrete driveways are made of plain or coloured concrete, exposed aggregate, stamped concrete, pattern paving, stencil paving, spray pave or terrazzo. Several concrete sealing solutions are available, including film forming sealers, natural finish sealers, enhancing sealers and hybrid sealers.
PAVER SEALING AND BRICK SEALING: Modern pavers are made of a wide range of masonry materials. Clay pavers (both pressed and fired/glazed), concrete pavers, reconstituted stone/concrete pavers, terracotta, natural stones all benefit from a carefully selected sealing solution.
NATURAL STONE SEALING: Natural stone materials have gathered popularity over the last few years. Sandstone, limestone, bluestone, granite, travertine and other natural stone substrates are often porous and need a premium grade sealer to offer protection. Jetclean offers comprehensive stone paver and tile sealing services.
Different driveway floor materials and finishes require different sealing approaches. A concrete driveway may not be sealed with the same type of sealer as a bluestone driveway. Naturally your personal preferences all come into play when choosing the best sealer for your project. Your Jetclean technician will guide you through the complex choices and help select the best solution.
Also called penetrating sealers these types of products are designed to soak into the driveway surface where they form a chemical barrier. When the sealer dries it is invisible, yet it helps to keep out harmful contaminants and liquids that cause permanent staining or damage. They also assist in slowing the growth of algae and mould. These products are often preferred in areas where slip risks may exist. Different quality grades are available. Lower cost natural finish sealers are water repellant yet effective. More expensive solutions can also help repel grease and oils. Specialist and premium stone sealers are available.
Much like a varnish on floor boards these types of sealers are designed to offer a clear finish. Various sheen levels ranging from matt to high gloss are available. Water based options and solvent based options can be considered as part of the sealer choice. Solvent based sealers result in a darkening of the colours and are also referred to as wet look sealers.
Again these sealers come in solvent and water based options. The solvent based one is often used by concreters at the time of installation however we do not recommend their use on paved driveways. The water based version on the other hand is a hi-tech game changer that allows us to treat previously unsealed concrete or pavers immediately after cleaning. Offering same day sealing and powerful protection is convenient for customers as they can use the areas again more quickly.
Concrete colour sealers offer all the advantages that concrete paint does not. More penetrating, great coverage, long lasting and low risk of peeling. It will look like paint, just better. Your JETCLEAN® technician can show you colour ranges and explain the process.
We are often asked whether to seal driveways. In short, prevention is better than the cure. Yes, sealing is optional and does not offer a 100% guarantee against staining but it does greatly lower the risk of permanent damage. If you want your pavers or concrete to look good for longer and become easier to maintain then sealing is the way forward.
Here are some of the benefits:
Maintaining a seal coat on your decorative concrete surfaces is an essential maintenance task and recommended by all manufacturers and installers.
If you leave your concrete surfaces unsealed they may stain, the dyes will fade and, in areas of shade, mould may take hold and cause damage.
Typically all decorative concrete is meant to be protected by a seal coat. If damage has occurred already, talk to Jetclean about a colour sealing option to make it look like new again.
Jetclean technicians seal all types of concrete.
A Jetclean concrete colour sealing service can give your property that 'something extra'. Driveways, garages, paths, patios, carports, porches.... we can make them look WOW!
You may have old or faded looking concrete.. Concrete colours that don't match? Or is it the stains? May be you just don' like the colour. We can fix it and even help you match the colour of your roof, bricks or garage door.
Why is it better than painting? Concrete colour sealers are solvent based and get deeper into the concrete than paints. They look more natural and are tough as nails.
